Kim + Zach’s Bald Head Island Nuptials

Kim & Zach had a wedding dreams are made of at Kim’s family vacation home on Bald Head Island. They had a gorgeous rehearsal dinner at the base of the iconic lighthouse Old Baldy featuring a classic Southern low country crab boil and their very own beer brewed just to commemorate their special day! Kim had an amazing groom’s cake made just for Zach that was absolutely perfect. The rehearsal was planned and designed by Kickstand Events who also happened to design their amazing floral arrangements for the wedding day. Their wedding day came bringing perfect weather with it as a light breeze blew across the dune lined beaches and the picturesque harbor. Each of them had their own house for the bridesmaids and groomsmen making a perfect backdrop to get ready. Then everyone loaded themselves onto golf carts to witness Kim & Zach’s first look with Old Baldy and the marshes as a halo in the background. Our final destination for their vows was the Shoals Club at the end of the island where they said  “I Do” in front of family and friends under a gorgeous arbor overlooking the ocean and sand dunes. Every detail in the reception from the gorgeous center pieces, their kid photos adorning each table, the personalized life saver, and their Harry Potter themed guestbook tree was on point and perfect. The Castaways Band threw out some fantastic covers and the crowd was an amazing group who loved to dance- and who wouldn’t when they had an open bar and most of them were staying on a beautiful island?! We are so happy Kim & Zach trusted us with their relationship and and allowed us to capture their special day.
